Swedish real estate tech startup Adfenix raises $6 million

Adfenix, a Swedish company building software for the real estate sector, has raised $6 million in a Series A round from Notion Capital, Industrifonden, and IT outsourcing company Goodfellows.

The investment is the company’s first round of institutional funding, which will be used to boost the company’s presence in the Nordics, the UK, and Australia with a view to reach further into Europe and the US in 2018.

“We are equipping real estate agents and their clients with the power to sell and buy homes easier and quicker,” said Gabriel Kamienny, cofounder of Adfenix.

“I truly believe that the real estate agents of tomorrow are all going to be tech-enabled, and we want to help both traditional agencies to make this leap as well as boosting the new class of hybrid online agencies with their value proposition.”

It counts real estate companies Sotheby’s, RE/MAX, and Harcourts among its customers.

“Residential real-estate is ready for digitisation and automation, said Chris Tottman, partner at Notion Capital.

“We were very impressed by how quickly Adfenix has transformed large real-estate agencies’ sales performance by automatically mapping and analyzing underlying property data, leveraging social media and using intelligent chat-bot messaging to optimize the property transaction process,” he said.

Tottman along with John Sjölander, investment partner at Industrifonden, will be joining the Adfenix board.
