French local services marketplace AlloVoisins raises €2.5 million

Nantes-based AlloVoisins, a marketplace for local services, has raised €2.5 million from Groupe RTL. The investment follows a 1.7 million injection by RTL one year ago.

Nantes-based AlloVoisins, a marketplace for local services and equipment, has raised €2.5 million from Groupe RTL. The investment follows a 1.7 million injection by RTL one year ago.

AlloVoisins is a location-based platform for the exchange of local services and equipment. The company specialises in a wide range of areas, from gardening to sports equipment, and services including DIY, child care, cleaning, maintenance and repairs — all exchanged "between neighbours."

The French startup was founded in 2013 by Edward Dumortier, Ronan Le Moal and Charles Cabillic.
