Belgium’s Collibra reportedly raises €40 million from ICONIQ Capital

Belgian data governance company Collibra has reportedly raised €40 million in a funding round led by ICONIQ Capital, the investment firm linked with Mark Zuckerberg and several other Silicon Valley elites.

Sky News reports that the round will value the data startup at €325 million. A spokesperson for Collibra told tech.eu that it had no comment.

ICONIQ is a previous investor in the company, which makes data management and monitoring solutions. It led the company’s Series C round of $50 million in January of this year.

ICONIQ’s backers include some of the biggest names in Silicon Valley: Facebook’s Mark Zuckerberg and Sheryl Sandberg, LinkedIn’s Reid Hoffman, and Twitter’s Jack Dorsey. The firm, previously dubbed “an exclusive members-only Silicon Valley billionaires club”, has also invested in European-founded company Intercom.
