Epistema reportedly raises $6 million from Peter Thiel fund and Slack

Epistema, an Israeli AI startup, has reportedly raised $6 million in funding from Peter Thiel’s Mithril Capital Management with participation from Slack.

The Israeli company develops AI tools for knowledge collection and analytics in the enterprise.

Calcalistech first reported today that Peter Thiel’s Mithril (which last year closed a new $850 million fund) and Slack had joined the funding round. We've reached out to Epistema for comment and will update when we hear back.

It has previously raised money from Flint Capital and PICO Partners but had not disclosed any figures.
