Estonian-founded Pipedrive raises $50 million to grow its sales CRM and explore acquisition possibilities

Sales CRM startup Pipedrive has secured a $50 million Series C round led by Insight Venture Partners and Bessemer Venture Partners, with participation from existing investors, Rembrandt Venture Partners and Atomico. Pipedrive plans to use the money to further scale and develop its product, as well as “explore strategic acquisitions,” the company stated in a press release.

Founded in Tallinn, Estonia, in 2010, Pipedrive markets itself as a CRM created by salespeople for salespeople. It offers a relatively simple and streamlined interface and integrates with more than 100 popular business tools, including Google Apps, Trello, Zapier, MailChimp, Yesware, and PandaDoc.

The company, which is headquartered in Tallinn and New York, with offices in London and Lisbon, claims to have 75,000 customers in 170 countries. It also states that it's experienced “triple-digit year-over-year revenue growth since it was founded in 2010.”

The current funding round brings the total amount raised by Pipedrive to over $80 million.
