Influencer marketplace Inzpire.me raises $1 million

Influencer and brand marketing platform Inzpire.me has raised $1 million, at a $5 million valuation, from Snö Ventures, Intility CEO Erik Bakkejord, and former CEO of Stokke Tomas Settevik.

The Oslo-based startup plans to use the new funds to develop AI and machine learning tools for marketing and expand its services across Europe and into the US. Inzpire.me’s platform is used by brands to connect with influencers to promote products and services and currently has 7,000 influencers and 60 brands on board.

The company was founded in March 2016 by Mats Lyngstad and Marie Mostad and has offices in Oslo and Palo Alto. It recently picked up first place in the Tokyo Pitch Competition Finals.
