MyOptique, the leading online eyewear retailer in Europe, has made yet another acquisition in its quest to dominate the market and battle Mister Spex. After snapping up UK premium online eyewear business Eyewearbrands.com and Germany's 4Care (Lensbest.de), the company is today announcing that it has acquired 'Scarlett of Soho' (also based in the UK).

Terms of the acquisition were (again) not disclosed.

The deal will see the Scarlett of Soho collection sold exclusively across MyOptique's UK eyewear websites, GlassesDirect.co.uk and Eyewearbrands.com, alongside its in-house brands London Retro, Scout, Harrington and Aspire. Overall, it carries 150+ eyewear brands.

MyOptique says it serves over 3 million customers today, and more than two-thirds of its sales are outside the UK.
