Polish cloud and CRM services company Outbox has been acquired by PwC for an undisclosed amount. The deal was signed on December 31 and will be officially closed in February.
Outbox provides cloud services in several European countries and counts Salesforce, Oracle, and Microsoft Dynamics among its clients. Outbox’s managing director Nicholas Mobbs will be joining PwC as a partner while more than 250 Outbox employees will be joining the company as part of its EMEA push, particularly in Eastern Europe.
The acquisition follows PwC’s purchase of consultancy Mokum in 2014 and brings PwC’s technology practitioners across EMEA to “almost 3,000”.
“This acquisition represents a major milestone for PwC's UK and Central and Eastern Europe alliance and its commitment to invest in emerging markets,” said Ashley Unwin, UK and EMEA consulting leader at PwC. “It is also a significant addition to our customer and digital capabilities and sees the establishment of a Centre of Excellence for these skills within PwC in Europe.”
The potential market for customer experience and CRM services it expected to be worth more than €6 billion in the coming years, according to Outbox.
