Swedish game developer Stillfront receives €11.2 million bond loan

Swedish video game developer and publisher Stillfront just received a bond loan of €11.2 million. The company is behind the new game Unravel, and is listed on the trading list First North.

Swedish video game publisher Stillfront just received a bond loan of €11.2 million. The company is behind the new game Unravel, and is listed on the trading list First North.

The company reported its best quarter ever after the launch of Unravel, with a profit of €250,000 in the first three months of 2016.

"We are very pleased with the great interest that investors have shown in Stillfront and our business model," said CEO Jörgen Larsson in a press release. "The issue of the bond will give the company greater financial flexibility to pursue attractive acquisitions and other strategic opportunities, and we look forward to further developing and further diversifying Stillfront's portfolio with additional studios and games."
