UK video analytics company Voxpopme raises seven-figure Series A round

Voxpopme, a video analytics firm, has raised a seven-figure Series A round from Mercia Fund Managers. No specific figures were disclosed.

The UK company develops a platform for qualitative and quantitative video data analytics for marketers and customer experience professionals. The funding will be used to support its plans to grow internationally.

According to Voxpopme, which employs 30, has doubled its turnover year-on-year over the last two years. It plans to grow its team by 15 in its Birmingham, Salt Lake City, and Sydney offices.

“Mercia’s ambition to grow businesses with global potential matches our plans to advance video research software so that any researcher, marketer or business owner can quickly capture, analyse and share consumer-recorded video insight, anytime, anyplace,” said CEO Dave Carruthers.
