French digital skills training startup WebForce 3 raises €3 million

French startup WebForce 3, which provides digital skills training programs, has raised €3 million from Odyssée Venture and Impact Partenaires.

The Paris-based startup was founded to bridge the gap between digital skills and the demand in the job market. It provides both in-person and online training programs. It has 25 centres dotted around France.

The new funds will be used to double this network in France by opening more schools in major cities. It will eventually look into expanding internationally following a successful initial run in Luxembourg.

“As importantly, this fundraising will allow us to boost our online platform that is designed to accompany our learners/alumni throughout their lives, constantly allowing them to update their digital skills through access to the latest available pedagogical contents as well as in class intensive courses,” said Olivier Bréchard, general manager of WebForce3.

It plans to develop new courses in Symfony, DevOps, cybersecurity, and VR/AR to meet demand.

“Since all sectors of the economy are today impacted by the digital revolution, the launch of new short and intensive programs will provide organisations with talented people in a short-time period", added Olivier Bréchard.
