The French 1001 Salles Group has received €4 million from Rives Croissance and Cap Horn Finance. 1001 Salles specializes in connecting customers and professionals with event spaces and catering through its websites.

The 1001 Salles site was originally launched in 2000, dedicated to organizing private events, with a listing of more than 6,000 event spaces including castles, hotels, and restaurants. The Group later added another site dedicated to professional events to book meeting rooms and business centers, with over 8,000 available spaces. Another site, 1001 Traiteurs, was added in 2011 to book caterers for events.

The company says it will use the financing for growth in France and internationally.

"It took us more than ten years to establish the 1001 Salles brand as a real reference in the rental of rooms on the Internet," said CEO Thierry Depierre, as reported by Fusacq. "For the first time in our history, we decided to open our capital by leveraging the contribution of Rives Growth to accelerate the next steps of our development."
