Collinor, a Cologne-based business software firm, has been acquired by ERP software company godesys. No terms were disclosed.
Collinor, launched in 2005, develops software for project management and data transparency, and counts Siemens among its clients.
High-Tech Gründerfonds (HTGF) was an early stage investor but has now sold off its shares as part of this acquisition.
In a statement, godesys said it plans to integrate Collinor’s software into its own enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems. It will continue to operate under its own name. Klaus Röder, executive director, described the deal as a “win-win situation” for both companies.
“Companies aspiring to achieve long-term success need to constantly explore how they can improve and become more efficient,” added Godelef Kühl, founder and chairman of godesys.
“We aim to provide clients with software support that is continuously optimised and satisfies their changing requirements and needs. Collinor and godesys are a great fit in this respect, and in terms of products merging the two companies also makes perfect sense on a strategic level.”
