Opera Mediaworks boosts its mobile ad platform with acquisition of Turkey's Mobilike

Opera Mediaworks, the mobile advertising subsidiary of browser maker Opera, has acquired Mobilike, one of the leading mobile ad networks in Turkey, reports Webrazzi.

Terms of the deal were not disclosed and, as far as we can tell, Opera Mediaworks has not (yet) officially announced the acquisition (though Mobilike has).

This is actually the second time Istanbul-based Mobilike has been acquired - the mobile ad network company was taken over by Madvertise back in 2012.

Mobilike was founded in 2009 and raised an undisclosed amount of funding from Point Nine Capital, Team Europe and Felicis Ventures. It claims the largest mobile advertising reach in Turkey today with over 3.5 billion page impressions.
