Barcelona-based Transplant Biomedicals has closed a €2.5 million funding round. The investment comes from Caixa Capital Risc and Kereon Partners.

Transplant Biomedicals is developing a new organ transport device that will be available for hospital use. The device will improve the viability and quality of liver and kidney transplants. The company plans to use the new funding to start the clinical phase of the device.
