Understanding the Security Challenges of AI 2019 (Brussels, Belgium)

Join academics from various universities and policy experts from EU institutions, Permanent Representations, and NATO for a Public Debate and a reception, to discuss what AI means for security in data protection, cybersecurity, law, business, society, public policy, and international politics. We are targeting an audience of EU policymakers from various institutions, including MEPs and Commission experts; academics; industry representatives. This event is organized by the Rhine-Main Universities. AI is the theme of the Science Year 2019 of the German Federal Ministry of Education and Research, which supports the event with the Representation of the State of Hessen to the EU. The theme is about the implications of AI for security in its various dimensions.
