Biosite, a Solihull, UK-based provider of biometric access control and software-based workforce management solutions for the construction sector, raised £4 million from Mobeus Equity Partners in order to expand its team and expand its suite of site management tools.
French Wynd raises €30 million to take its point-of-sale solution to international markets
French startup Wynd has raised a €30 million Series B round. Investors included Sodexo Ventures and Orange Digital Ventures and Bpifrance. Orange Digital Ventures had previously invested in the company’s Series A round along with Alven Capital.
London-based content sharing platform Pushfor raises £1.2 million
Pushfor, a private cloud-based messaging and content sharing platform, has raised £1.2 million in a pre-Series A round. The investment comes from NT Asset, C12 Ventures and Metdist Limited.
UK-based enterprise software firm PatSnap secures Series C led by Sequoia Capital
London-based cloud software company PatSnap has closed a funding round from Sequoia Capital, with Shunwei Capital and Qualgro contributing to the round. The amount of the deal was undisclosed, though a PatSnap spokeswoman said that the round was in the “tens of millions of dollars.”
Monsanto acquires Estonian farm management software startup VitalFields
Monsanto Co. has agreed to acquire VitalFields, an Estonian farm management software company, for an undisclosed amount. The startup will become part of The Climate Company, a Monsanto subsidiary that helps farmers maximize harvests through its Climate FieldView platform.
British-American startup Tray.io raises $5 million to link apps in the cloud
Tray.io, a “next generation cloud integration provider,” has raised $5 million in a Series A round led by London-based Mosaic Ventures, and with participation from True Ventures.
