Paris-based FlexyBeauty, which has developed a SaaS software suite for hairdressers and beauty institutes, has raised €1.5 million from the French investment fund Newfund.
French adtech startup Databerries, a mobile advertising platform for offline retailers, has announced a $16 million Series A round, led by Index Ventures. Existing investors also took part in the latest round following a Seed round in December 2015, including ISAI and Mosaic Ventures, and angels such as Pascal Gauthier and Greg Coleman.
The French shared economy startup GuestToGuest, a platform that enables home exchanges for travellers, has just acquired the American startup HomeExchange after raising €33 million. The two founders, Charles-Edouard Girard and Emmanuel Arnaud, relied on the substantial investment to finance the transaction. The funding came from Maif and other previous private investors.
French fintech startup L’Addition, has completed a round of €5 million. The investment came from Galia Gestion and CM CIC Capital Privé.
After announcing that its 2016 sales were up 22%, the fashion and beauty ecommerce website Showroomprivé announced that it will acquire the beauty ecommerce site Beauté Privée. The deal is expected to be completed by the end of the first quarter.
French fintech startup PayinTech, a wearable payment solution focusing on the tourism and leisure sector, announces that it has raised €2.5 million. The round was led by Caisse des Dépôts, which invested €2 million, with participation from previous investors Fa Dièse and CapDecisif.
French car sharing service TravelCar has raised €15 million from the PSA Group and MAIF, to enter the United States market with car rental offers for travelers, in the Los Angeles and San Francisco airports.
