Paris-based Side, a platform connecting companies and freelancers, has raised €5 million from several investors. The company had previously raised €1.3 million in October 2016 from Connect Ventures.
French Kalray, a developer microprocessors, has raised a round of $26 million. The funding comes from new investors Safran and Pengpai, and existing investors ACE Management, CEA Investissement, EUREKAP! Héléa Financière and INOCAP Gestion. The company has raised over $65 million to date.
Lyon-based decision making solution startup Cosmo Tech has raised a €3 million round. The investment comes from BNP Paribas and existing investors including Sofimac Partners, Aster Capital and Credit Agricole. This brings the total raised by the startup to €6.7 million.
Snips, an AI voice platform provider based in Paris and New York City, has raised $13 million in Series A funding. The round was led by Korelya Capital and MAIF Avenir, with participation from BPI France and previous backer Eniac Ventures. This brings the total amount raised by the startup to $21 million in the past two years.
French startup Happydemics has raised 2 million. The funding comes from Starquest, the Finance Innovation Technology Fund, and several business angels including Frédéric Mazzella, Frédéric Basseto, Alexandre Ichai, Sébastien Duclos and Julien Godin from Playtwo, Olivier Mazeron, and Ruben Nataf.
French startup Shadow, has raised a €51 million Series A round. Shadow is developing super-sleek computers based in the cloud, directed at primarily at gamers. The user’s phones, laptops, and Shadow’s device are all connected in the cloud to hundreds of servers that provide hyper-fast service and perfect HD images.
French foodtech startup Youmiam has raised €1 million from M6 and Maslow Capital Partners.
