German fintech platform Bonify has received €5.5 million in Series A funding. The round was led by London's Mosaic Ventures and Ribbit Capital, with participation from Index Ventures, DN Capital, HW Capital and the founders of Zalando and Raisin.

Whether they need a car or a mobile phone contract, customers usually need to prove that they have a good credit rating. Bonifiy allows people to monitor their personal credit score, and can also use the platform to view and manage their finances. The company does not disclose any customer data to third parties.
