Ve Interactive acquires creative agency Crave & Lamb for £3 million

Crave & Lamb, a UK-based creative agency, has been acquired by UK adtech company Ve Interactive for £3 million.

Crave & Lamb was founded in 2012 and creates targeted marketing campaigns for brands. The agency’s software will be used by Ve to enhance its position in programmatic advertising. Ve Interactive made a similar acquisition in September, buying Optomaton, a similar ad company specialising in programmatic video.

“As our M&A strategy evolves, it’s becoming increasingly important to acquire the best-in-class so we are able to provide our clients with innovative technology and enhanced expertise,” said Ve Interactive CEO and founder, David J. Brown (pictured, centre). “The acquisition of Crave and Lamb allows us to fulfil our strategy and provide even more value to our growing client base.”

“We have a long-standing relationship with Ve and admire the way the business operates,” added Crave & Lamb’s managing director Rob Jones (pictured, right). “We strongly believe the industry will continue to push agencies to enhance their technical capabilities and Ve’s expertise and international focus will improve our ability to deliver for our clients across a range of channels.”

This marks Ve Interactive’s sixth acquisition since 2011. Along with Crave & Lamb and Optomaton, the London-based company has acquired eBay Enterprise, GDM, AdGenie, and KeChange.
