Northern Irish resource recovery company Waste Systems has raised €1.2 million in funding from Kernel Capital.

Northern Irish resource recovery company Waste Systems has raised €1.2 million in funding from Kernel Capital.

Waste Systems is a designer and manufacturer of advanced waste management systems that separate garbage according to its material. Their services reduce landfill costs and secure revenue streams from materials of commercial value that have been sorted and recovered.

The company, founded by CEO Nishi Ward and with twenty employees, is currently exporting across Europe and North America.

The firm plans to use the funds to expand and reinforce their international presence.
