French startup Brigad, a service for that links job candidates with companies for short-term assignments, raised another €2.2 million. The investment comes from previous investors, including the accelerator 50 Partners and Square Capital.
The startup sends job offers to professionals in sectors where there are shortages, currently focusing on hotels and restaurants. The company has developed technology to match profiles of job candidates with temporary work offers.
At the moment, Brigad only operates in Paris, but hopes to use the new investment to expand to the rest of Europe, opening offices in London, Bordeaux, and Barcelona. It also plans to expand to sectors such as sales, construction, health, and education.
