The Spanish holiday accomodation finder Hundredrooms has raised €4 million. The investment round was led by Seaya Ventures**,** with participation from Mediaset and previous investors including Inveready, Bankinter, Atresmedia and Media Digital Ventures. This round brings the total amount raised by the company to €11 million.
Hundredrooms was founded in 2014 and is based in Palma de Mallorca, Spain. It's platform uses a search algorithm that allows users to compare prices for holiday accommodations published on different websites. The site compares prices of nearly 7 million homes and apartments from partners like Airbnb, House Trip, Homeaway and Booking.com.
The startup reports that its platform has developed new functionalities that help users to save between 25 percent and 35 percent in the final price of their accommodation.
The company plans to use the new capital to consolidate its international expansion into France, Italy, the United Kingdom and Germany. It also plans to strengthen its product development and launch new services.
