Perkbox raises $8.6 million for its employee engagement platform

London-based employee engagement platform Perkbox has raised $8.6 million from Draper Esprit.

Draper Esprit was a previous investor in the company and has now invested a total of $12 million in Perkbox. The company also received backing from Seedrs.

It has developed a digital employee engagement platform for accessing and retaining employees as well as customers. British Gas, AXA, Deliveroo, and BlaBlaCar are among its clients. It opened a Sheffield office earlier this year and expects to make £30 million in revenue in 2017.

The fresh round of investment will be used to expand its client base. “We are exceptionally happy to have Draper Esprit as a significant investor in Perkbox,” said CEO Saurav Chopra.

“We believe they understand and agree with our mission to create a better society through building stronger relationships with employees and customers, and we continuously benefit from their insight and assistance in building a global scalable business in our defined end user markets.”
