UK-based flexible workforce startup Distributed raises £1.5 million

London-founded “talent resourcing” platform Distributed has raised a £1.5 million funding round from Fuel Ventures. The startup plans to use the fresh capital to grow its team sixfold by the end of this year and open its platform for the public.

Distributed is essentially an on-demand workforce platform, which offers maximum convenience to the customer, who only needs to specify the task and the outcome they need to achieve. After that, a human project manager and an AI-powered matching mechanism would supposedly take care of forming the team and seeing the project to an end.

Founded in 2017, Distributed claims to have worked with UK-based clients including Mastercard, Sytner Group, Heron AI, REISS, and RBS. The current round brings the amount of funding raised by the startup to £1.65 million.
