There's plenty of conferences, summits and festivals out there, but most are focused on current technologies and possibilities. Future Port Prague, a two-day tech business festival that will take place in the Czech Republic's capital city on 10 and 11 September, will have its sight firmly on what the future holds.

Last year, the event attracted more than 8,000 visitors, who caught a glimpse of the future thanks to the participation of 120 innovative companies and a multitude of visionary speakers.

In a little over a month from now, the Prague Exhibition Rounds will be the venue for an even bigger showcase of current and future trends in technology, and how it will shape business, life and society as a whole in the years to come.

This year, the focus will be on a variety of topics such as the future of materials, cities, health and finance, and the organising team is putting a lot of emphasis on helping attendees connect with, and learn from each other.

Future Port Prague will thus become a meeting place for thousands of entrepreneurs and innovators, C-level executives from corporates, public sector representatives and policymakers, academics and other future-focused business leaders.

Confirmed speakers include Gary A. Bolles, a lecturer, writer and consultant on the future of work connected to Singularity University, genome engineering specialist Samuel H. Sternberg, former Slovak president Andrej Kiska, Quora executive Kerstin Ewelt, chemical engineer and lab-grown meat producer Brian Spears, and former Kiwi.com managing direcor Lucie Brešová, among many others.

If that sounds like something you'd love to be a part of, or you'd like to launch your company or product on such a major stage, check out Future Port Prague's website and blog now.
