Sustainability scoring platform Redigo Carbon raises seed funding

Polish-born, London-based ESG monitoring platform Redigo Carbon has attracted 1.2 million Polish zloty ($269,500) from Invento VC's Bridge Alfa programme, reports Poland's MamStartup.

Founded by Magdalena Stelmach and Tangi Coatanea, Redigo Carbon enables businesses to access sustainability tools through its machine-learning driven platform. The core algorithms are able to calculate scope 1, 2 and 3 emissions across the client's supply chain and internal operations.

The fundraise was supervised by the Polish law firm Ślisz-Sandecka Kozioł & Partnerzy.

Stelmach and Coatanea said: "Our current way of life is not sustainable. We understand that companies need to make major changes (…). REDIGO was created to guide companies through this change, giving them the right tools to minimize their negative impact and maximize their positive impact on the planet and its people. Thanks to the right data, planning and action, we can make a change"
