Finnish M&A software start-up Inven has raised €1.5 million in Seed funding which will be used to build its team and increase customers, and further build upon the first version of its software. The funding was led by Lifeline Ventures.

Founded in 2022 by Ekku Jokinen, Niilo Pirttijärvi, and Tommi Kupiainen, Inven is a tool to help M&A professionals speed up laborious tasks such as scouring through web pages to extract data of companies – using AI and NLP models to streamline the job.

"We’re excited to support Inven as they are realising their vision of the financial industry’s future. Their unique approach and ambitious team have positioned them well for success, and we are confident in their ability to make an impact." says Petteri Koponen, founding partner at Lifeline Ventures.

The first version of Inven’s software is in use and it is ‘actively developing it with its customers’.

"We're on a mission to offer the most intelligent and intuitive tool to find and analyse companies. We're excited about the impact our software can have on the M&A industry, and we're grateful for the support of our investors and customers," says Inven co-founder Tommi Kupiainen
