Energy management platform Chapter has secured €3 million in funding from Rubio Impact Ventures and CapitalT to roll out its AI-powered operating system for knowledge in the sustainable energy industry. The company aims to accelerate the energy transition by transforming how knowledge is shared and applied in the sustainable energy sector.
Initially focused on upskilling professionals in the green tech sector, Chapter has evolved into a provider of purpose-built AI solutions that optimize workflows and improve efficiency across the sustainable energy industry. The platform provides manufacturers, installers, and service teams with data in order to save time that would be spent searching, and is currently in a beta phase. Installation projects are becoming exponentially more complex, driving greater demand for faster, first-time-right installations as productivity stalls.
Chapter AI addresses these challenges through onsite installer support, access to technical knowledge, automated helpdesks and integrations with other user interfaces.
"This purpose-built AI solution marks a turning point in the energy sector. We’re not just launching a new service—we’re starting a revolution in how knowledge drives this industry. By addressing key challenges like scarce installer capacity, faster installations, and improved quality, it empowers manufacturers and installers to work smarter and scale more effectively. This revolution isn’t just about solving today’s problems; it’s about reshaping the sector for the future." Commented founder André Haardt.
Haardt is joined by co-founder and CCO Rutger Laman Trip. Laman Trip elaborated: "Even though certain political voices are calling to slow down sustainability efforts, the bigger picture is clear: we need 18 million extra workers globally to secure the necessary energy transition. Digital training has proven to be an essential piece of this puzzle. Backed by Rubio and CapitalT, and supported by the significant interest from international manufacturers, we’re eager to scale further and help manufacturers—and the professionals who work with their products—achieve global CO₂ neutrality faster."
