Bulgarian UVIONIX secures $3.5M Seed funding for warehouse automation

Robotics and automation company UVIONIX has raised a $3.5 million round from LAUNCHub Ventures. The round is co-led by Hungarian PortfoLion and includes participation from Romanian Underline Ventures, German Robin Capital, and angels.

UVIONIX is a robotics and automation company that uses flying robots to improve warehouse inventory management and supply chain logistics. Its U-Vee robots use AI and deep learning to monitor inventory levels in real time to create digital replicas of warehouses, which can be used to track inventory and identify theft.

Founded by Bulgarian entrepreneur Boris Iskrev (CEO), UVIONIX uses advanced aerospace technology to revolutionize warehouse automation. By creating live digital twins of warehouse spaces, U-Vee eliminates the need for manual stock checks, reducing errors, cutting costs, and streamlining logistics operations.

With this investment, Uvionix will accelerate its product release and expand its market presence across the US and Europe. The company is focused on forging strategic partnerships with major logistics and retail players to scale deployments across multiple industries.

"We believe Uvionix’s AI-driven approach is setting a new industry standard. Their technology has the potential to redefine supply chain efficiency, and we’re excited to support their journey." said Raya Yunakova, investor at LAUNCHub Ventures.

“This funding is a pivotal step toward realizing our vision of making supply chain management. Smarter, faster, and more transparent,” said Boris Iskrev, CEO of Uvionix. “We are grateful for the trust and support of our investors and excited to deliver a product that we believe will transform the way warehouses operate globally.”

“Logistics and warehousing are adopting new technology at a fast pace, due to AI developments, workforce shortages, and the continuous need for optimization. The Uvionix team can address these challenges by leveraging its entrepreneurial, and technical experience, and building a best-in-class product for its category.” added Borgan Iordache, GP Underline Ventures.
