French fintech startup Bankin’, an app that facilitates money management, announced the closing of a third round of €7 million. The round was led by Omnes Capital, with participation from CommerzVentures, NewTech Generation and business angels. The company had already raised €1.4 million in 2015. The new investment brings the total raised to €8.4 million.

Launched in 2011 to manage various bank accounts from a mobile application, Bankin’ now also offers the transfer of money via wire transfers.

Bankin’ also allows users to visualize their financial situation, and wants to evolve into a “personal coach”. The startup currently boasts 1.5 million users and facilitates 300 million transactions each month.

Bankin’ plans to use the new funding to focus on research and development.
