Swiss mobile payment startup Muume raises €5.3 million Series B

Fintech startup Muume, based in Zug, Switzerland, has raised €5.3 million in a Series B round from an unnamed Swiss venture capital firm and an anonymous Swiss entrepreneur.

Fintech startup Muume, based in Zug, Switzerland, has raised €5.3 million in a Series B round from an unnamed Swiss venture capital firm and an anonymous Swiss entrepreneur.

Muume is a digital platform designed to facilitate shopping on smartphones, allowing users to pay for day-to-day consumption, as well as larger purchases and orders. It aims to allow customers to pay for everything with their mobile.

With the new funding, the startup plans to strengthen its growth in its core markets of Germany and Switzerland, as well as in neighbouring countries.
