French employment website Qapa has just raised €11 million. The funding comes from Index Ventures and previous investors Partech Ventures and 360 Capital Partners.
The job site, which has enabled 200,000 French people to find a job in six years, now aims to provide one million contracts of employment via its platform by 2020. Right now between 8 and 12,000 people find a job or an internship on Qapa every month.
Specializing in internship offers, it develops a matching technology that enable each company or job seeker to find the offers and profiles that correspond to their expectations.
"Our investment decision is based on the innovative model of Qapa.fr and also on the team that brings together a combination of exceptional talents. This fundraising will allow Qapa.fr to achieve its ambition and have a massive impact on the labor market, especially for low-skilled youth," said Dominique Vidal of Index Ventures in a statement.
