After announcing that its sales were up 22% in 2016, the fashion ecommerce website Showroomprivé announced its acquisition of the beauty ecommerce website Beauté Privée. The deal is expected to be completed by the end of the first quarter. The amount of the deal was not disclosed.
Beauté Privée claims to be a market leader, with 3 million users and 800 partner brands, and a turnover of €20 million in 2016.
Thierry Petit, the co-CEO of Showroomprivé, told Journal Du Net that it intends to keep the team, brand, and the website of Beauté Privée, while helping the company with logistics and to expand internationally.
