UK-based organic weed control company Weedingtech has raised £3 million in funding. The investment comes through Calculus Capital.

UK-based organic weed control company Weedingtech has raised £3 million in funding. The investment comes through Calculus Capital.

Weedingtech has developed a patented weed control technology called Foamstream, which replaces toxic herbicides. Foamstream uses hot water and an organic foam made from plant oils and sugars to destroy weeds without harming other plants or human health.

Foamstream is already being used in farms across the UK as well as in Sweden, France, Germany, Italy, Switzerland, and Canada.
