Spanish informatics company Worldsensing raises €8.3 million in Series B financing round

Worldsensing, an operational intelligence and insights solution provider based in Barcelona, Spain, raised €8.3 million in a Series B financing round. The round was led by McRock Capital and ETF Partners.

Worldsensing uses what they call "Connected Operational Intelligence" to provide real-time operational intelligence and insights solutions to companies through wireless sensor technology. Specifically, several of the company's products and solutions center on city infrastructure, traffic flow, parking management, and other related industries.

With this recent investment, the company says they want to continue their expansion, and that they plan to establish bases in the US and Asia in 2018.
