Founded in 2015, Wolves Summit has become one of the most active platforms accelerating startups’ growth through bespoke introductions to investors, corporations and ecosystem players. Recently, it had to reinvent itself and turn the conference into a series of monthly online events with a focus on quality networking. Want to join the next one on April 30? This year, Wolves Summit’s 11th edition was close to being disrupted by the unprecedented health crisis. Whilst a great number of events have been cancelled or postponed, Wolves Summit believed this made it even more important than ever that it proceeded as planned.

In less than 10 days, Wolves Summit turned around a complex schedule of on-site meetings, talks, and panels into a comprehensive virtual experience. Aired on March 24, the event — where our own Robin Wauters was also moderated a panel — attracted over 1,500 online participants, 600 startups and 300 investors.

By leveraging the latest technologies made available by one of its alumni startup, Hopin, Wolves Summit ran 100+ online talks across a 24-hour conference. The event's match-making tool enabled over 500 engagements allowing startups to connect with potential partners and investors to build new relations.

“The upcoming weeks will continue to present major unprecedented challenges,” said Michael Chaffe, Wolves Summit CEO says. “I strongly believe that if we come together, we will find ways to thrive through this unsettled global landscape. It’s for this reason that we decided to run Wolves Summit virtually this year. And we don’t want to stop here.

“I would like to extend a special invitation to our tech community, especially to startup founders to join us, as we roll out a new series of online events to help the many businesses that are facing difficult times.”

Following the success of the event last month, Wolves Summit decided to launch an exclusive series of live startup-investor match-making events and webinars from experts in the field of finance, investment, technology development, and science to help international founders grasp the situation.

Set to take place every last Thursday of the month, the first live event is scheduled for April 30th and will host the Great Pitch Contest. Anyone who has previously attended Wolves Summit will know that the Great Pitch Contest is a major opportunity for ambitious founders to present their technologies in front of thousands of people and to win some cash.

Wolves Summit aims to reach a much larger audience of international startups, as it just announced a partnership with Expara VC, an investment firm in Southeast Asia. The three winning startups will be offered a place on Expara's Virtech Global acceleration programme and a chance to receive up to $50,000.

To register for the Great Pitching contest or to participate in the Wolves Summit monthly live events, startups need to hold a valid event pass. Get yours here using the code WSLTECHEU for a 25% discount — and join the next live event on April 30th.
