Airsorted, an Airbnb management service, has raised £5 million in Series A funding from Pi Labs and Atami Capital. On top of the Series A round, the UK company is hoping to raise a further £1 million in a crowdfunding campaign.

Airsorted is a platform for managing guest bookings, from maintenance to liaising with guests, that have come from services like Airbnb and Booking.com.

The new funds will be invested in global expansion as well as further technological development. It recently launched in Paris and is currently active in London, Edinburgh, Dublin, Brighton, Bristol, Sydney, Melbourne, Brisbane, and Auckland. It is targeting 38 new cities by the end of 2019. It faces a lot of competition in the space from the likes of Hostmaker and GuestReady.

“With our Series A funding and newly launched crowdfunding campaign, we want to expand our offering further to not only provide hosts with peace of mind when offering their homes to travellers, but also to guests by ensuring they have the most seamless stay possible,” said James Jenkins-Yates, CEO. “One of the ways we do this is by providing guests 24-hour check-in, which cuts out one the of the many pain points associated with home sharing.”
