ERT says the acquisition will allow it to offer clinical trail sponsors a single platform for the full development-to-commercialization spectrum in order to minimize risks, run safer and more efficient programs, and get new clinical treatments to patients more quickly.

Exco InTouch previously raised a total of $9.69 million from Scottish Equity Partners and Albion Ventures in two rounds.

Tim Davis, the founder and CEO of Exco InTouch, said in a statement: “ERT is the eCOA industry leader with a strong history in developing novel eClinical products and technologies to minimize risk and uncertainty in clinical research. They were an obvious choice when we were assessing our strategic business development options.”
