UK ticketing platform Tickets for Good has raised £3.9 million in funding to support its international expansion and grow its team. The investment came from NPIF II – Mercia Equity Finance, managed by Mercia Ventures as part of the Northern Powerhouse Investment Fund II, alongside Shaping Impact Group (SI3), Finance Yorkshire, Leansquare and private investors.
Founded in Sheffield by Steve Rimmer and the late Neville Mosey, Tickets for Good provides low-cost access to live events for NHS workers, teachers, charity staff and people receiving Cost of Living support.
The platform distributes surplus tickets provided by event partners. Members can sign up for free and pay a nominal transaction fee for each ticket, while venues and event organisers can fill otherwise unused capacity and generate additional revenue from attendees. Tickets for Good says it now has almost 750,000 verified members globally and has distributed more than 1.25 million tickets.
Robbie Williams is an ambassador for the company, alongside former Dutch international goalkeeper Edwin van der Sar and music entrepreneur Hans Brouwer.
The company expanded into the US in 2023 after joining the Comcast SportsTech accelerator in St Louis and now also operates in the Netherlands, Belgium and Germany. It doubled its revenue in 2025 and is targeting five-fold growth over the next three years.
Steve Rimmer, co-founder and CEO of Tickets for Good, said the investment will help the company expand internationally, create jobs in Sheffield and provide more people with access to live events.

The funding will support expansion into additional international markets and the creation of new jobs in Sheffield over the next three years.
