UK-based cybersecurity company ECSC Group plc has listed on AIM, receiving £5.9 million.

The firm, which was founded in Bradford in 2000, specializes in the design, implementation and management of cybersecurity systems across a broad range of industries and clients.

With the funding, ECSC says it plans to grow its team (from 50 to roughly 200 by the end of 2018) and open a security operations center in Australia.

CEO Ian Mann said in Tech City News that he's delighted about the listing, and that it will "expedite the execution of our detailed growth strategy and take the company to the next phase as we look to build on our existing blue-chip client base and our proven organic growth to date."
