Jellynote, a Paris-based based edtech startup, has raised $800,000, led by Nordic Eye with participation from Partech Ventures and its own CEO Martijn Tjho.
The AI-powered learning platform provides tutorials and lessons for musicians. Jellynote will be using the new funds to boost its user acquisition, it currently has around one million users. It recently launched its Social feature for peer-to-peer learning.
“28% of the world population plays an instrument, Jellynote is perfectly positioned to help musicians hone their talent, with this funding Jellynote can acquire new users and encourage new aspiring musicians to pick up an instrument and play,” said Martijn Tjho.
“With Nordic Eye's investment Jellynote will be able to capitalise upon the initial growth to position themselves as a market leader,” commented Jens-Otto Paludan, partner at Nordic Eye.
