The French video creation startup Pitchy has raised €4 million from Seventure Partners and the Fonds Ambition Numérique, managed by Bpifrance.
Pitchy's founders Lionel and Benjamin Chouraqui wanted to create a solution that would allow professionals to make videos quickly, easily and inexpensively. The startup offers video creation software that companies can use to create their own videos using customized, pre-recorded animations. Companies can create videos for marketing as well as for other purposes such as human resources or internal communications. More than 200,000 videos have already been created with Pitchy in the past 24 months.
"Their solution, through its ease of use, massively democratizes video production and promises to become a professional reference tool," said Marion Aubry, investment director at Bpifrance, as reported by Maddyness.
The startup plans to further accelerate its growth with the new funding and enhance its platform with new functionalities.
Pitchy works with several CAC 40 companies in various industries including real estate, services, banking, insurance, and retail. It also works with the public sector, for instance with the Ministry of the Interior.
