The French bank Crédit Mutuel Arkéa has invested €20 million to launch its own fintech startup, "Max". The bank wants to use the startup to give customers access to a range of banking and insurance services, personalized financial advice, and more.
Max will be designed as a personal assistant, allowing its users to benefit from a range of services and financial advice. In addition to offering traditional banking services, like budget management and the aggregation of several bank accounts, the plan is for Max to develop several additional features in the coming months, in preparation for its launch on September 1. There are plans to integrate services into its platform to improve the daily life of users, from managing housekeeping to organizing events or trips. The startup will rely on Crédit Mutuel Arkea's experts to offer a range of personalized advice to its users, including credit renegotiation, insurance optimization and real estate investment.
