Spanish electronic signature company Signaturit raises €2.8 million

Spanish Signaturit, which provides secure and legally valid electronic signatures, has raised €2.8 million in its second funding round. The investment comes from Banco Sabadell, Nero Ventures, and Faraday Venture Partners, along with other investors. The startup is one of the only two Spanish companies to receive funds from the European Horizonte2020 program for innovative, high potential companies.

Signaturit plans to use the new funding to consolidate its position in the European market, incorporate new technologies that will make its secure identification solution even more user-friendly, and to deepen its policy of integration with third parties.

The company reports that it now has 10,000 clients, with offices in Barcelona and Amsterdam, and a team of 28 professionals.
