Poland’s Datarino raises $1.6 million for its Cluify ad platform

Polish firm Datarino Group, the company behind advertising platform Cluify, has raised $1.6 million. The Series A round was led by Luma Ventures.

Cluify is an ad platform for in-store analytics that determines advertising IDs based on geographic and behavioural data gathered through Wi-Fi and beacons in the premises. The platform helps physical stores monitor and measure who has visited their store or made a purchase to craft better ad and marketing campaigns.

“So far, the Polish and European markets have lacked comprehensive solutions to allow advertisers to target campaigns based on consumer behaviour in the real world,” said Edward Mężyk, CEO of Cluify (pictured, left). “Retail-driven activities, often on a mass scale such as outdoor activities, absorbed most of the marketing budgets and did not provide a clear answer about effectiveness.”

The company’s clients include physical retail stores, restaurants, and sports stadiums.

Outside of the advertising space, Wrocław-based Datarino Group also develops mobile gaming apps under the RinoApps name as well as financial technology solutions for KYC (know your customer) with its Datarino Finance product.
