German fintech startup BITA raises €1.25 million to bolster its indexation software

Frankfurt, Germany-based financial technology startup BITA has scored €1.25 million in seed funding to boost the development of its software for financial indexation and systematic investing, and to accelerate its sales efforts.

The capital injection comes from German early-stage investment Futury Ventures, BeneLux-based VC firm Volta Ventures and Belgian investor Michel Akkermans (though his Pamica vehicle).

BITA is led by CEO Victor Gomez, previously Senior Vice President of Ventures at Deutsche Börse, who says it already counts some of the largest trading platforms in the world as clients after launching its real-time calculation system in October 2018.

The startup recently graduated from Startupbootcamp Amsterdam.
