Paragraf, a Cambridge University spin-out that bills itself as a "graphene-based electronics technology company" has raised £12.8 million in a Series A round led by Parkwalk and joined by IQ Capital Partners, Amadeus Capital Partners, Cambridge Enterprise and unnamed angel investors.
These are mostly the same investors that backed Paragraf with a £2.9 million seed round last year.
The fresh cash should allow Paragraf to start commercialising the first IP-protected, graphene-based electronics products.
Dr Simon Thomas, co-founder and CEO of Paragraf, said: "This funding marks the start of the next phase in Paragraf’s growth. I am extremely proud of the young team at Paragraf who have collectively delivered the early strategy milestones with great skill. This next phase will allow Paragraf to make these truly game-changing technologies a reality."
