Round Hill Ventures launches €200 million fund for European proptech startups

London-based Round Hill Ventures (RHV) will invest in European proptech startups from a new fund, which just had its first close on the way to a target €200 million. The firm will invest anywhere from late seed to Series B.

Round Hill Ventures, backed by Round Hill Capital, has been investing in the European proptech ecosystem since 2016, backing companies such as SenSat, Spacemaker AI and Plentific (which just announced an acquisition last week). RHV is aiming for a portfolio size of around 45 investments.

The new fund is led by Arnie Sriskandarajah, working alongside Round Hill Capital CEO Michael Bickford, and attracted large institutional capital investors as well as sovereign wealth and pension funds.

Founded nearly 20 years ago, Round Hill Capital is a global real estate private equity firm that reports over $10 billion of investment across Europe and the United States. The firm says its global operations in investment management, development management, asset management and property management help introduce RHV’s portfolio companies to new markets.
